Nursing Interventions and Classification

Nursing interventions are the real treatments and movements which are done to assist the patient to attain the goals which are set for them. The nurse uses his or her knowledge, experience, and essential thinking skills to determine which interventions will assist the affected person the most. Nursing interventions include both the physiological and the psychosocial Interventions are included for illness treatment, illness prevention, and health promotion. Most of the interventions are for use with individuals but many are for use with families, and some are for use with entire communities. Indirect care interventions are also included.
